We had a great class today and everyone worked really hard on their lessons. Sorry for the late post, I was away! I hope that everyone had a wonderful long weekend. Please practice your songs for the recital, which will take place in room 150 on Wednesday, May 31st at 10:50 pm.

Today in Class
Today we talked about our new teacher Mr. Mozart, and “The Grand Staff” before completing Lesson 31 with, Mr. Mozart, who talked about Grown-up holding notes and did some review. Afterwards, we worked on our songs and you spent some time in the games room. Great work everyone!

- In CMJ volume 2 (if you have it) review Lesson 31 and have fun in the Games room.
- Some of you still have worksheets to complete for me. Please bring these next class!
- Keep practicing “Ode to Joy” and “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”.
Level 2B
Today in Class
Today, after reviewing our notes in the treble and bass clefs on the floor and introducing treble clef “G” , James completed Lessons 48 and 49 while Sebastian completed lesson 48 and then I helped him with his songs.
This Week @ Home
- James has completed all his worksheets I believe! Sebastian, if you could please bring me some of the worksheets for me to check next class, that would be great!
- If you have CMJ at home, review lessons 48 and 49 and spend some time in the practice room with Miss. Melody.
- You can practice your hand position on a keyboard or even a desk table if you do not have a keyboard.
- Practice “Ode to Joy” and your other songs for next class.
Level 3A
Today in Class
Today, Taylor learned how to play with both hands together in lesson 73 with Ms. Chaminade. You songs are coming along nicely! Remember to keep your fingers slighly bent and touching the keys so you don’t lose your spot! Great job!

- If you have CMJ3 at home, review lesson 73 and head to the games and/or improvisation rooms.
- Complete the next worksheet in your book.
- Keep practicing “Ode to Joy” and the sharp song. Carl will bring you a copy of “Angry Birds”.

Today in Class
Today, we learned about out teacher, Mr. Debussy and about Intervals before completing lesson 82. Then you had a chance to play some games and to work on “Big C Position”. Well done!
