We had a great class today where everyone worked hard in Concertmaster! First, we all took turns improvising on the white keys to “Reflecting” and then we made up our own songs on the blakc keys to “Blues on Black”. Just to remember to use your right hand on the higher notes of the piano keyboard and play one note at a time. I was really impressed with some of the melodies that I heard! Then we played “I Spy a Note” and the 3As had to find some flat and sharp notes which they did really well with. Great work to those of you who found our sneaky Cb! Afterwards, we took turns doing some floor activities and working on our songs. There were no lessons today, but I still assigned homework for you to complete. Keep working on your songs at home over the next couple of weeks as there is no class next Wednesday (due to a school trip) and you don’t want to forget them! I will see you again on Wednesday, Feb. 22!
